La vida se puso cuesta arriba.

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about my reading habits. When I was a little girl my mom gave me “Papaito piernas largas” this was my first book, since then I usually read some book, sometimes I have to read for the University, but this is not impediment to read my books.

I can’t remember how many books I have read in my life, but I’m sure that are a lot because I read for the school, I read just for fun and I read for the University, so I can’t count this.
I like enjoy reading so I think I don’t have a favorite topic, because I read about different topics, like fiction or novels, but if I had to choose my favorite writer, I would choose this Chilean: Antonio Duarte. I didn’t know anything about this author but one day I find the book, my favorite book “La vida se puso cuesta arriba/ Y yo iba cuesta abajo”.

This book is a group of poems, pictures and caligrams but for teenagers, the poems are like little stories but without principal character, in fact any character. When I read this book I really enjoyed it, is fun and when I read I think “oh, I  think this too”, I feel empathy with “La vida se puso cuesta arriba/ Y yo iba cuesta abajo”. When I enjoy a book, I read so fast I remember that in less of one day, I finished this book.

So, as I said this book is a group of poems or little stories, but I think that this book is like a portrait of a generation, my generation. In the book you can find thoughts, phrases or stories that you have lived

For this and more, I recommend this book, is fun and easy to read, if you want relax and read other kind of book, “La vida se puso cuesta arriba/ Y yo iba cuesta abajo” is a good choise.

Can going freelance help manage depression? (By Rin Hamburgh)

The Guardian, Tuesday 22 October 2013 09.46 BST

This article is about the probability relation between the depression and the freelance, for know this, the investigators ask a group of freelancers what the biggest perk of their job is? The majority says that working in your pyjamas. So, the investigators think that this people don’t have enough energy because maybe they have depression, and because of this they have to choose to work for themselves.

How we already knows, when a person have depression not always is low and sad, sometimes the person would be fine and happy, but during in the relapse the person want to be alone with themselves.

Today, about a 4.7 million people of U.K are living depression, but you have to know that sometimes this illness is frequently misunderstood for different causes (biological and physical), or too by wrong diagnosis of some psychologist.

The people diagnostics with depression have fear of stigma, so they decide work from home away of their office and partners. But the investigator says that the biggest perk is that the people have the control of situation in the case of freelance. In the office maybe the panic and paralysis it much more in the people with depression, but in house this people learn to take a good decision and to be their own boss, but the disadvantage is that these people are isolated.

For this, a group of "depression alliance", created "friends in need", this is a chat to provide the opportunity for the people with depression to meet both online and offline, and not be alone, this could be a good option for these people, to find new opportunities!

Sakura Card Captor

When I was child I like watch tv, but I didn’t was really enthusiastic about some specific kind of animation, I liked series like “Tom and Jerry”, “Ranma 1/2”, “Baby Follies”, “Los Caballeros del zodiaco”, “Los Super Campiones” “Dragon Ball Z” but my favorite  Japanese  animation was “Sakura Card Captor”.

Sakura Card Captor it a serie of a manga written and illustrated for the group of “mangaka CLAMP”, and then was adapted for the anime for Morio Asaka.

The story it based on Sakura Kinomoto who discovered her stranger magic power then of liberate a lot of cards of the book. Then this, Sakura and her friends is forced to collect and care the “Clow cards” to prevent a catastrophe in the world

The most that I liked about “Sakura”, was each card had their own history and Sakura first has to learn something important about them,  then can capture the card.

I remember the opening of “Sakura” I love it because the song it great, the opening of “Hunter X” or “Sailor moon” or “Detective Conan” also are wonderful, when I was child I sang everyday this songs.

Well, I don’t like Japanese culture because I don’t feel interested in anime or other similar areas like this, maybe the history of their country.

The first anime that I ever saw was “Sailor moon” I really enjoyed it because were the first girls that fought with the evil, thats was great in a "men world".

Brazil, La la la la lá!

Hi classmates today I'm going to talk about an interesting topic: a country that I’d like to visit. Do you like to travel? Which country would you like to go to? Well, when I think about these questions I always imagine a lot of countries, but my first choice is Brazil. I love the summer and in Rio de Janeiro I can find the best climate. The beaches in Rio, are the most beautiful and heavenly that you can imagine! The caipirinha, samba and the happiness abound in this paradise.

Well, Brazil has a nice city where you can go to parties or visit the Cristo Redentor, some friends told me that Brazil has two things that I love: besides the beaches, the carnival and and its rich cultural life.

I would like to enjoy the tropical weather and why not? try to learn Portuguese too, know every beautiful place and dance samba like a real Brazilian.

I think that Rio de Janeiro is paradise to rest and enjoy but, how about to work there? I think that's it's a bad idea, in another countries of Latin America maybe, but this place is for holydays, for fun and to disconnect from the rest of the world!

Psychology, I don't know

Hi everybody today I'm going to talk about my ideal job. When I think what I want to do after I graduate from university I don’t know the answer.  I like the psychology although I don’t know if I want to be all my life a psychologist.

When I imagine my ideal job I think that this would be one where I can help to the people or society, I consider this like my principal objective in life. When you feel useful for the rest, it's because you are in the best job.

Well, I’m hoping to use my knowledge about the psychology to help somebody, I’d like to work with children because I feel a lot of empathy with their feelings or thoughts, and I have a lot of patience and a good ear to listen and understand their little world.

Some important qualities of my ideal job is that be a good work atmosphere, a place where you feel relax and feel support from your partners to arrive to the objective, because when you have a good people next to you, you have a people with the same purpose. My ideal job is to be near of my community, and have flexible schedule. Well… dream it’s free.

For be a good psychologist, you have to read a lot and always learned about your field to be a successful professional. I think that I’m too young to compromise with this kind of life, for this I’m still dreaming about my future and really hope to find my ideal job.
